N&V Z4 is a fine grained
phosphate investment that has been manufactured
to meet the needs of today's laboratories. Z4 is
a universal rapid cast investment that performs
under the most demanding circumstances with
unequaled consistency and reliability. Z4's
excellent flowing characteristics and ample
working time allow for multiple bubble free
rings to be poured at one time. Z4 has
flexible properties that allow laboratories to
take control of their casting schedule. When
using the rapid cast technique with Z4 it is not
necessary to place a ring directly into the oven
after the initial bench set. With Z4 you can
place rings directly into a hot furnace after
they have been sitting on the bench for hours or
even days. These properties help to control
production in laboratories and increase
productivity without unnecessary work. |

Drawing on the latest techniques, MG-Vest
has been completely reformulated to produce
precision partial framework castings whether
working with hydrocolloid or silicone
duplications. Whether using silicone or most
hydrocolloid materials MG-Vest does not require
any type of messy sealing dips. It is a
phosphate investment so it requires only one
non-hazardous, water based liquid to control
expansion, which means no messy liquids or two
part liquids. With the new MG-Vest formulation
it will fit into your system, requiring very few
technique changes. With MG-Vest refractory
models will be smooth and ready for waxing as
soon as 30 minutes after being poured. Once
waxing is completed the cylinder can be poured
and remain on the bench for a minimum of 15
minutes. MG-Vest is suitable for labs of all
sizes, increasing precision and production.
When the bench set is completed the cylinder can
be placed directly into a hot oven at
temperatures up to 1950° F. However with MG-Vest
rings can be allowed to sit on the bench for
hours or days until you are ready to cast them.
Once the ring has preheated for the appropriate
time, usually 1 hour, it is ready to be cast.
Divesting is very light and there will be no
need for extensive finishing time. Framework
will be of unsurpassed accuracy and it was all
completed in less than 2 hours, requiring far
less preparation and finishing time. This allows
for an increase in productivity through flexible
casting procedures. |
